SLOW PLAY BREWING COMPANY
One night several years ago, an engineer, a banker, and an auditor were playing Texas Hold’em and drinking craft beer and had the idea for opening a poker-themed brewery. The idea took root and Slow Play Brewing opened on November 10, 2018 in Rock Hill, SC, just beside Winthrop University. Life Moves Fast, Play Slow!
IMPACTING THE COMMUNITY
Slow Play Brewing tries to support local business as much as possible, sourcing equipment from Deutsche Beverage Technology, base malt from Carolina Malt House, additional ingredients from local businesses, and holding benefits for local charities and organizations such as Second Harvest Food Bank in Rock Hill, SC.
