Hoptown is located north of Charlotte in the Lake Norman bedroom community of Mooresville. Their passions are for incredible beer, fun social gatherings and giving back to the community. A bright and friendly taproom hosts a rotating 17 beers brewed onsite along with cider, seltzer, wine, prosecco and an array of non-alcoholic options. Whether you are seeking a specific activity like trivia, music bingo, running and cycling or maybe looking to hear live music & dine off of a great food truck or perhaps just want to hang out in their expansive “backyard” they’re here for you 7 days a week.
IMPACTING THE COMMUNITY
Hoptown’s comprehensive non-profit support program is called Sip It Forward®. Since opening their doors in March of 2021 they have donated over $35K to local non-profits. Sip it Forward® is a beer on a mission. A pint of this easy drinking blonde ale in their taproom will provide you with a token worth $1. You then take the token to their “Sip It Forward® wall” and choose one of the 4 annual charities that they support and “drop your token” into the shoot of the one you choose. This is an interactive, tangible, fun and delicious way to help support local charities one dollar at a time.
